Classy Northants claim T20 title in style
NORTHANTS beat Hampshire in a thriller to win their first Vitality Blast title in a decade yesterday.
David Willey's side scored just 143 in the semi-final and 169 in the final but their bowlers were quite brilliant – James Sales taking 4-41 in his eight overs in the course of the day – his team claiming their third title with a thrilling 14-run win in a seesaw final at Edgbaston.
