LEICESTERSHIRE batsman Harry Dearden helped Cheshire recover from having to change their entire side following a positive COVID-19 test with a century that swept them to their highest National Counties Trophy total and a 99-run win over Shropshire at Toft.
Dearden, playing his first match for his native county for five years, made 100 from 98 balls as Cheshire made light of the disruption, posting 365-8, one more than their previous highest.
It proved more than enough for Shropshire despite a second successive fifty from new skipper Graham Wagg.
