NORFOLK moved into contention for the Eastern Division title by securing their second win of the season in their catch-up match.
A positive approach from captains Chris Brown and Reece Hussain helped to make up for lost time after two rain-shortened days.
Hussain, the nephew of former England captain Nasser, declared Hertfordshire’s first innings at their overnight total and then used some of his occasional bowlers – eight in all – to help Norfolk to their declaration.
