BANGLADESH squandered the opportunity to seal an ODI series victory over West Indies as they stumbled in the final over after Shimron Hetmyer scored a superb century for the hosts.
West Indies kept the best-ofthree series alive with a three-run victory at the Guyana National Stadium, but it was a case of what might have been for Bangladesh.
Despite Hetmyer smashing 125 off 93 balls to help West Indies post a competitive 271, the tourists went into the final over needing just eight runs to wrap up the series with a game to spare.
