Indian tri-series takes women’s game to a whole new level

THE biggest year yet in women’s cricket has concluded with a major announcement for early 2018, India agreeing to host both England and Australia in 50 and 20-over internationals in the spring.
Typically, bilateral series in the women’s game is as good as it gets outside of major global tournaments. But following India’s landmark success making the final of the 2017 World Cup, the two traditional giants will visit the nation for ODI fixtures alongside a T20 tri-series.
