THE ECB National Club Championship is approaching the semi-final stage as the 40-over competition continues its quest to crown the leading club in the country.
Smethwick defeated Knowle & Dorridge in an all Birmingham League clash, knocking off a target of 240 to win by seven wickets. K&D made 239-8 thanks to a 79-ball 93 from Ethan Berlusconi. But it was lightwork for Smethwick, who cruised to victory inside 31 overs after 86 not out from Rajpal Beniwal and 71 from Viken Kedariya.
