MIDDLESEX HAVE taken legal advice and are working with the Professional Cricketers’ Association in an attempt to overturn an administrative ruling that has ruled captain Leus du Plooy out of the remainder of the season.
Du Plooy, 31, has played as a local player in county cricket since 2019, having held a Hungarian passport and previously declared an intention to qualify for England.
