KENT’S director of cricket, Paul Downton, has revealed that they had to beat off intense competition to sign Afghanistan international all-rounder Mohammad Nabi for next season’s T20.
A clever right-arm off-spinner with 68 T20 international appearances, Nabi boasts a T20I bowling average of just 24.71 and an economy rate of 7.14, on top of a batting strike rate of 145.12.
He will be available for Kent’s first eleven games in the competition.
