Hampshire head coach Russell Domingo admits he has been left surprised by the demands of the English cricket schedule after experiencing Finals Day and the One-Day Cup in the space of a hectic week.

It’s Russell Domingo’s first season as a coach in English cricket but there are already signs that he has a decent grasp of what makes perhaps the craziest summer in the global calendar so unique.
“Hawky finished second last in the mascot race, so maybe there’s something we need to work on there,” the Hampshire head coach says, laughing.
Domingo had had quite a week.
He had experienced the magic of Finals Day, coupled with a coach trip to Scarborough for Hampshire’s opening match of the One-Day Cup.
