YORKSHIRE have been hit by the surprise resignation of Steve Denison as director and chairman due to ECB regulations which prevent him retaining his position.
It follows an announcement by the Financial Reporting Council of the sanctioning of Mr Denison and imposing a £325,000 fine as the audit partner responsible by PriceWaterhouseCoopers in the audit of BHS. He was also banned from performing audit work for 15 years which also meant that he could no longer serve Yorkshire.
