MARCHANT de Lange and Dawid Malan starred as Trent Rockets eased to a nine-wicket win over Southern Brave in both sides’ opening Hundred match at Trent Bridge.
Having opted to bat first, Southern Brave never really got going and could only muster 126-8, Ross Whiteley top-scoring with 39 from 29 balls.
De Lange was the destroyer-in-chief as he claimed the competition’s first five-for, ending with 5-20 from 20 balls.
