STEVE Cooper has added former Swansea defender Alan Tate to his first-team coaching staff.
Tate played in all four divisions with the Swans and had been working in the club’s youth set-up.
The 37-year-old’s appointment follows that of fellow fan favourite Leon Britton as sporting director earlier in September.
“Alan possesses many qualities and is a great addition to the first-team set up,” chairman Trevor Birch said.
