Big year ahead: Mason Crane
THE start of the new season can’t come quick enough for Mason Crane – after 12 months he would rather forget.
This time last year, Crane was basking in the afterglow of an Ashes debut in the Sydney Test as England’s eminently forgettable tour of Australia drew to a close.
That, though, was as good as it got for the Hampshire leg-spinner, who missed the majority of the county season through injury and only began bowling again shortly before Christmas.
