All-rounder Perera is too good for Plumtree

SAVIN PERERA enjoyed one of those magical days most cricketers can only dream of, scoring a century and bagging seven wickets in Attenborough’s 156-run win over Plumtree in the Nottinghamshire Premier League. Opening the batting, the lefthander stroked 118 from 145 balls as Attenborough posted 249-6 in their 50 overs. A former England U19 international, Perera shared a century stand with Harry Franklin (59no) for the fourth wicket, bringing up his fifth league ton of the year in the process.
