THE SURREY Championship is packed full of overseas talent thisseason, with perhaps none being more explosive than Reigate Priory’s Aussie batter Alex Ross. Ross, in his second season with Reigate, is currently averaging 43.30 in the league for the Surrey side this summer, having hit one century and two half-centuries in 10 innings. His top score so far, 199 from 96 balls, came in a crushing 161-run win over Weybridge back in May, while he hit 77 in the draw with Esher last weekend.
