It’s Miller time now for Kendal

KENDAL kept their Northern Premier Division survival hopes alive with a miraculous nine run victory over Garstang last Saturday.
The home side were skittled for just 79 batting first as seamer Ian Walling took seven wickets, but demonstrated their desire to remain in the division by bowling Garstang out for 70 in the second innings.
The victory over title-chasing Garstang was enough to move Kendal to within three points of Penrith ahead of yesterday’s final game, leaving their opponents’ league hopes hanging by a thread.
