Lye calls it a day after 25 years

EXMOUTH’S David Lye has decided to hang his bat up after a 25-year career in the Devon Cricket League.
The 40-year-old played his 359th and final first-team game against Sandford on Saturday to call time on a career that has lasted two and a half decades.
Lye will now shift his focus to taking care of himself rather than the opposition.
The batsman, who also represented Sandford, won the Premier Division twice in 2003 and 2004.
