Earley are the first to go vegan

EARLEY have become the world’s first cricket team to serve a fully vegan-based menu.
This came after chairman of the Reading outfit, Gary Shacklady became a vegan, which made him realise match teas didn’t match the dietary requirements of everyone.
In offering vegan food as a standard option, Earley are now aiming to ‘promote inclusivity, sustainability and healthy eating, as well as compassion towards animals.’
They follow in the footsteps of Forest Green Rovers, who claim the moniker of being the world’s first vegan football club...
