Jos Buttler is looking to enjoy his cricket again at the IPL after a disappointing winter in an England shirt saw him step down as white-ball captain.
“I was trying to play with lots of freedom, lots of intent,” he said, following his unbeaten 73 saw Gujarat Titans defeat Royal Challengers Bengaluru by eight wickets last Tuesday.
“I had a few months of pretty unenjoyable cricket, so [I’m] trying to make sure I’m out there giving my best, and obviously a new team, new franchise, and excited to be here.”
