The One-Day Cup game I played in for Yorkshire against Surrey this week was eventful for several reasons. First and foremost, it was a really good game of cricket. If we hadn’t batted so terribly in the first innings we could have been on the other end of the result – I reckon 210 would have been a good score. But it was a proper low-scoring thriller, and the pitch was a bit spicy.
