IF Ben Kitt is handed another chance in county cricket then he will probably reflect that days like Tuesday were the making of him.
When TCP catches up with him it’s 7pm – and he has already been up for the best part of 15 hours.
“The alarm went off at 2.30 this morning,” he says. “I’m doing overtime at the factory at the moment so it will be the same tomorrow.
It’s not always like this, normally I have a bit of lie-in. Until 4.30am.”
