CHAMARI ATHAPATHTHU and Pathum Nissanka were the big winners at the Sri Lanka Cricket Awards, walking away with the Women’s and Men’s Cricketer of the Year honours.
Athapaththu, who struck a century against Ireland in the recent T20 World Cup, was recognised in particular for her T20 batting exploits, while Nissanka impressed across formats in 2025 and was named Player of the Series in Sri Lanka’s Test win over Bangladesh last year.
