LEICESTERSHIRE’S loss has been Berkswell’s gain after allrounder Ateeq Javid was left out of the Foxes’ t20 side.
Javid, right, took a mighty 8-53 and then hammered 103no as league leaders Berkswell soared to an easy seven-wicket victory over Dorridge.
Missing out on a hat-trick after a dropped catch, Javid said: “It was a good opportunity to come back to Berkswell and bowl some overs.
