Lauren Winfield-Hill on the long-awaited start of the women’s season
Our season at Yorkshire gets underway this Saturday and we’re really ready.
The girls are shaping up beautifully and we’ve played lots of internal games and warm-up fixtures against other counties.
The wickets are pretty good because the weather has been kind so as a player, it’s at this point you’ve ticked everything off, and you’re ready to crack on. We’re chomping at the bit.
Tier Two is a bit of an unknown though. Usually, you would have analysis and footage to have a look at the players you’re going to be facing.
