A Stirling effort still can’t save winless Ireland

SEAMER Abu Jayed struck his first five-wicket haul in only his second ODI to ensure Ireland remained winless in their Tri-Nations series with Bangladesh and the West Indies.
Jayed’s 5-58, coupled with fifties from Tamim Iqbal, Liton Das and Shakib Al Hasan, led Bangladesh to a comfortable six-wicket win at Clontarf, despite the Emerald Isle showing some brave batting resistance.
