A NEW cricket league has enjoyed the perfect start this season with the launch of the North Wales Women’s Cricket Leagues.
Following the success of softball festivals in recent years, the league was due to be launched in 2020.
Now, after a year’s delay for Covid, the competition has got underway, with promising results.
Rachel Warrenger, the women and girls development officer for Mid Wales and North Wales, has been instrumental in its introduction and is delighted at the way the opening weeks have gone.
