ESSEX star bowler Simon Harmer picked up 28 wickets in June, and now he’s been handed the PCA player of the month award.
Essex stormed to the top of the table largely thanks to Harmer’s scalps and the offspinner was the landslide winner of an online poll of fans on the PCA and Sky Sports websites, beating the Nottinghamshire pair of Samit Patel and Steven Mullaney and Somerset allrounder Lewis Gregory.
