Aussies in new ‘catch’ row ahead of Ashes showdown

Former captain Ricky Ponting leapt to the defence of Cameron Green as Australia became embroiled in their first controversy of the summer at The Oval on Saturday.
Gully fielder Green leapt low to his left to hold on with one hand and remove Shubman Gill for 18 on day four of the World Test Championship Final.
But the incident enraged India fans, who chanted ‘Cheat, Cheat, Cheat’ from the Oval stands, while Gill took to twitter last night to post a couple of magnifying glass emojis, subtly inviting third umpire Richard Kettle...
