CAPTAIN Sam Billings led from the front with a magnificent unbeaten century, but couldn’t stop England Lions falling to India A by three wickets in a close first ODI of the series in Trivandrum.
The Kent skipper smashed 108 not out from 104 balls in the Lions’ 285-7, only for the hosts to edge home to victory with three wickets and five balls to spare.
