FORGET relying on the dubious Manchester weather and holding out for a draw, England are determined to finish this series with a win to prove they are capable of ridding themselves of the inconsistent tag that has blighted them under Trevor Bayliss’ tenure as coach.
England arrived at Old Trafford for the final Test with an unassailable 2-1 lead following their fine victory against South Africa at The Oval.
That result means a dodgy forecast over the next few days...
