WORCESTERSHIRE have handed a professional contract to rookie pace bowler Dillon Pennington.
The 19-year-old has signed a two-year contract at New Road after coming through the Academy.
It will begin on October 1 when Pennington has finished his scholarship at the University of Worcester.
Pennington impressed f or England’s under-19s at the World Cup in New Zealand.
Head coach Kevin Sharp said: “He’s got pace and bounce which is a rare commodity.”
