Khawaja builds to frustrate England

Usman Khawaja hasn’t had it easy when touring these parts. He struggled in 2013 and when he was dropped in the 2019 series, it seemed like it was the end, a good Test career stopping short of becoming a great one.
But four years on and Khawaja has never been more important to Australian cricket. His 15th Test century headlined another electric day of Ashes cricket as Australia closed on 311-5, trailing England’s first-innings total by 82.
