THE potential County Championship title decider between Somerset and Essex next Monday will be shown live on Sky Sports.
Somerset’s victory over Yorkshire this week means that the destiny of this year’s Division One title is set to hinge on this crunch season finale at Taunton, which starts on Monday September 23.
Essex ended a barren run totalling 25 years without a title by winning the title in 2017, but it’s the Cidermen who will be favourites to claim their first County Championship title since joining the competition in 1891.
