HAVING comfortably won the second and deciding Test, Sri Lanka continued their momentum with a fantastic run chase in the first T20 against Bangladesh.
The visitors had been set what looked a challenging total of 193-5, largely off the back of Muishfiqur Rahim’s unbeaten 66.
But poor bowling and brilliant power hitting took Sri Lanka to their target with more than three overs to spare. Kusal Mendis struck 53 off just 27 balls while Thisara Perera hit an unbeaten 39 off 18 balls.
