Afghans to make Test debut in India

AFGHANISTAN will make their Test bow in Bengaluru, facing India in mid-June.
Afghanistan were approved for Test status, alongside Ireland, in June 2017 and will now travel to India for a match from June 14.
The country have been seen as one of the most formidable Associate nations in recent times, reaching the World Cup in 2015 – this after only receiving full ODI status in 2011.
They tasted success against West Indies in the 2016 World T20 and will now be hoping to put up a competitive fight against India.
