IT’S worth listening to what Steffan Jones says on the subject of quick bowlers: “These boys are Ferraris – you don’t make them bowl in the nets, you want them at their best and quickest in games, they need to be treated with kid gloves.”
Jones, the former Somerset, Derbyshire and Northants quick, is now working at Wellington School but is gradually gaining a reputation as one of the world’s most forwardthinking and innovative pace bowling coaches.
