INDIA v SRI LANKA T20 ROUND-UP
MISSION accomplished for Ravi Shastri in capping India’s year with a 3-0 series victory over Sri Lanka before an eagerly anticipated tour of South Africa early in 2018.
India took the opportunity to rest several key figures for the T20 internationals but star openers Rohit Sharma and Lokesh Rahul steered them to 2-0 lead in the series at the Holkar Stadium.
Sharma struck the jointfastest century in 20-over cricket, tying with South Africa’s David Miller in taking 35 balls to reach three figures.
