ENGLAND look primed to offer opportunities to a host of fringe players when they take on New Zealand in their first Test series of the summer early next month after they named an experimental squad this week.
Head coach Chris Silverwood was clear that the matches at Lord’s and Edgbaston will be a chance for the likes of the uncapped James Bracey and Ollie Robinson to show what they can do ahead of next winter’s Ashes, while Craig Overton is back almost two years after his last Test appearance following a fine start to the County Championship season for Somerset.
