Jafer Chohan brims with endearing confidence. He is only 20, has made just a handful of professional appearances, but at Yorkshire – a county in a transitional period of healing – he has the backing that young leg-spinners crave.
“Shan [Masood] and Ottis [Gibson] have given me the belief that they want me to have an attacking mindset,” Chohan tells TCP. “That’s a massive thing as a young leg-spinner – you need a captain who has faith in you.
