IAN BELL’S retirement presents a window of opportunity for Birmingham Bears’ hungry young guns, says skipper Will Rhodes after their 16-run win over Worcestershire. Bang-in-form Sam Hain struck 61 from just 33 balls to guide the Bears to a total of 179-6, before two wickets from Olly Stone and Henry Brookes restricted Ed Barnard’s side to 163-8 in reply.
