THE RETURNING Oval fans finally had something to cheer as Surrey won for the first time since August 2019 with a nine-wicket victory over Hampshire.
Rain reduced the match to 11 overs per side with Will Jacks (45 not out) steering the hosts to their 80-run target with two balls remaining after Hashim Amla’s 29.
His winning boundary was greeted with plenty of cheers thanks to the 2,500 members who were permitted into the groun...
