Some argued that the South London-based Hundred outfit were asking for trouble with the ‘Invincibles’ suffix, but two years in, it has proved more than apt for Jon Batty’s all-conquering side.
The Oval Invincibles won a second successive Hundred title last August, beating the Southern Brave, also their opponents in the opening year, to claim the crown at Lord’s.
