Cornwall are in a league of their own

As competitions across the rest of the country were plagued by bad weather, the Cornwall League managed to get in a full programme of fixtures with Wadebridge and Penzance going level on points at the top of the table.
Wadebridge made short work of Hayle, skittling the home side for 49 before knocking off the target two down to win by eight wickets.
James Turpin bagged the impressive figures of 5-9 as Hayle had no answer to the Wadebridge bowling. Matthew Lawrence finished with a tidy 2-10 from 10 overs.
