Durham stretched their lead at the top of Division Two after the final day of the County Championship match against Derbyshire at Derby was washed out.
The draw meant Durham took 12 points, while Derbyshire’s 10 point haul left them second from bottom in Division Two.
Durham head coach Ryan Campbell said: “Unfortunately rain has come everywhere in England but I guess we look at our game plan and we are probably a little bit disappointed how we bowled on that first day but I thought we hung in there really well.
