WARWICKSHIRE are playing Division Two cricket in 2018 for the first time in a decade.
And while bouncing back to the top flight at the first attempt is priority number one, there is a larger scale rebuild going on at Edgbaston under Ashley Giles.
Their long-held ambition has been to lower the ageprofile of a senior squad and there are big opportunities for some younger faces to push their claims in Division Two this coming summer.
Leading them this year will be 37-year-old Jeetan Patel – surely now the greatest overseas...
