OVERSEAS star Mitch Marsh has told of his frustration after being told he will miss the start of the county season after requiring immediate ankle surgery.
The Australian all-rounder was due to join up with the Surrey squad ahead of the start of the County Championship season against Hampshire on April 20 but that will no longer be the case.
Marsh has been in fine form for Australia since returning to the Test side for the third Ashes test in December, averaging 45.09 with the bat against England and South Africa.
