THE ECB have declined a request from Nottinghamshire to allow Stuart Broad to play in this weekend’s fixture against Durham, though the bowler will play the third game of the season.
Broad, and his England new-ball partner James Anderson, have both been made available to their counties for the first and third games of the season – but not the second.
That means Anderson will also sit out Lancashire’s Division One clash with Surrey at the Oval though he will be available for their first home game of the season against Somerset starting at Old T...
