Luis Reece has hit a purple patch that some cricketers could only dream of. In the space of six innings across July and August, the Derbyshire opener racked up scores of 54*, 131, 201*, 50, 69 and 92.
On their own, those knocks are impressive, and even more so considering the ton and the double ton came in the same County Championship game against Glamorgan, the double part of a record-breaking 360run opening partnership with Harry Came.
