Impressive and mature centuries against Leicestershire (118), Gloucestershire (114) and most recently 135 at New Road, Worcester, have substantially built on the promise the 21-year-old showed in June last year when he created headlines around the world by scoring a barely credible 441 for Yorkshire seconds against Nottinghamshire II.
