There were perhaps some eyebrows raised in October when Colin Ingram, who turns 38 in a couple of weeks, signed a new two-year all format deal with Glamorgan.
But continuing his stint at the Welsh county until he’s pushing 40 felt like a no-brainer for the former South Africa white-ball international, who like many other overseas stars – Marnus Labuschagne chief among them – have felt so comfortable in Cardiff.
